Works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor
Why you’ll love it
Less clicking. More creating.
Stop hunting through wp-admin. Your AI client talks to Presto Player directly — so you can focus on the video, not the configuration.
Save hours every week
Skip the repetitive admin clicks. Add videos, build presets, generate chapters and pull retention numbers in seconds, with plain-English prompts.
Build by asking
“Turn my Bunny collection into a course with one lesson per video.” Your AI reads the request and makes it happen — safely, within your permissions.
Stay in control
Layered toggles for read, edit and delete. Cursor installs in one click; Claude and ChatGPT take a single paste of your endpoint. Every client connects with a revocable Application Password — revoke it anytime.
Try it with your AI
Prompts that do real work, fast.
Once your assistant is connected, you just type. Paste any of these straight into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor — no special syntax, no ability names to memorise. Describe what you want and it picks the right tools. Cards marked Coming soon use abilities that ship in the next release.
Add these 12 YouTube URLs to my Media Hub, title each one from the video, then give me the shortcodes ready to paste.
Take my Bunny collection Onboarding and build a LearnDash course with one lesson per video, in the same order.
Transcribe every video in Product Demos, then translate the captions into German and Spanish.
Create a preset called Course Player with our brand colour, no download button and autoplay off — then make it the site default.
Translate the captions on every video in Onboarding into French, then chapter each one from the new captions.
Which three videos lose the most people in the first 30 seconds, and where exactly do they drop off?
Generate chapters for the Week 2 webinar from its captions, then read them back to me before saving.
Upload these three MP4s to Bunny, add them as Q3 Roadmap parts 1–3, and retitle last year’s versions as Archived.
Pull my Bunny collection Product Demos, build a course from it, and make a smart playlist of the same videos for the sidebar.
Give me last month in one paragraph: total views, my five most-watched videos, and who watched the most.
Build a smart playlist of everything tagged onboarding, newest first, capped at ten videos.
Swap the Vimeo version of our homepage explainer for this new self-hosted MP4, and keep the shortcode the same.
Find every video still pointing at the old Vimeo account, show me the list, and remove the ones nobody has watched.
Show me every player preset and exactly what each one is set to.
Duplicate Course Player as a Podcast Audio preset with the video controls stripped, then delete the old Minimal Embed.
Attach the Week 3 recording to lesson 4 of the Advanced course and hand me the shortcode.
Who are my top ten viewers this quarter, and which video did each of them actually finish?
Show me every video in my Media Hub with its source, length and shortcode.
What are my current Presto Player settings, and which preset is the site default?
Give me the Presto Player shortcode for my Week 2 video.

Questions, answered
Do I need an API key or an AI subscription from Presto Player?
No. Presto Player exposes the abilities and you connect whichever AI client you already pay for. There is no Presto Player AI fee and no key to buy from us.
Can the AI delete my videos?
Only if you let it. Every write and delete ability sits behind the Allow AI to make changes switch, which is off by default. Destructive abilities are annotated too, so clients confirm before calling them.
Which AI clients are supported?
Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor are the clients we test and document. Cursor has a genuine one-click install link; the other two take a single paste of your endpoint URL.
How do I connect it?
Turn on AI access in Presto Player → Settings → AI Abilities, copy your endpoint (https://yoursite.com/wp-json/presto-player/v1/mcp), then paste it into your client under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. You will also need the free WordPress MCP Adapter plugin installed — Presto Player links it for you from that screen.
Is my video data sent to Presto Player or a third party?
Abilities run on your own server, through your own WordPress REST API. Presto Player has no middleman service and receives nothing. What does travel is the answer to whatever you asked — ask Claude for your drop-off curve and Claude sees that curve, exactly as it would see any file you paste into a chat. The Bunny Stream abilities also use your own Bunny.net account. Nothing else leaves your site.
What is the difference between the free and Pro abilities?
13 abilities are free, covering videos, chapters and settings. The 8 Pro abilities cover analytics, Bunny Stream and caption translation. A further 21 abilities — presets, tags, playlists, courses and the rest of the caption tools — are built and ship in a follow-up release; the plugin already lists them as Upcoming.
Does this work on WordPress 6.8 or older?
No. The Abilities API landed in WordPress 6.9, so AI access stays disabled and the toggle is greyed out on older versions. You also need the free MCP Adapter plugin, which Presto Player links you straight to.
