We’re excited to introduce Presto Capture, the easiest way to collect video from the people who visit your site. Visitors, customers, and members can record themselves, their screen, or a voice note on any page. They don’t need an app or an outside service, and you stay in control of what goes live.

Ways to use it

Get real video reviews. Let customers show your product instead of just writing about it. Video reviews work with SureCart and WooCommerce, and you decide which products offer them.

Make support easier. Add a Recording field to a SureForms form. When something goes wrong, a customer can record their screen and show you the problem. You get a link in the notification email, so no one has to describe a bug in words.

Bring your community to life. Members can record video comments, replies, and new posts in SureDash. It feels more personal than text and helps people connect.

Collect feedback in a voice. A voice note is quick and easy for people on a phone. It is a friendly way to collect feedback, questions, or ideas from your visitors.

Good to know

• Needs the free Presto Player plugin. Saving to Bunny.net needs Presto Player Pro.
• Recording needs a secure (HTTPS) site, because browsers only allow camera and microphone access on secure pages.

Record anything

• Record with a camera, the screen, the screen with a camera bubble, or a voice note.
• Visitors pick their camera and microphone (remembered for next time), see a 3-2-1 countdown, and can watch the take back and re-record. Nothing is sent until they are happy.
• Recording keeps going when visitors switch tabs, with controls floating in a small window on top.
• Works on phones and tablets, including iPhone and iPad. Screen recording is desktop only.
• Set a maximum length for each recorder.

Add a recorder anywhere

• Use the Presto Capture block, or a shortcode for classic themes, page builders and widgets.
• Choose which recording types each recorder offers.

Works with the tools you already use

• SureForms: add a Recording field to any form. Watch it inside the form entry and get a link in the notification email. The SureForms AI form builder can add it for you.
• SureCart: customers leave video reviews. Watch them on the Reviews screen and turn them on or off for each product.
• WooCommerce: video reviews show next to each review under Products > Reviews.
• SureDash: members record video comments, replies and new posts, with settings for each space.
• Presto Player: every recording plays in Presto Player and shows up in the Media Hub, tagged so it is easy to find.

Store recordings where you want

• Save to your WordPress Media Library as public or private files, or to Bunny.net Stream with Presto Player Pro. Connect with one API key and the video libraries are set up for you.
• Unused recordings are cleaned up on a schedule you choose, and the recorder stops before a take gets too big for your server.

Stay in control on a public site

• Choose who can record: anyone, or logged-in users only.
• Recordings from guests and new members wait for your approval and stay hidden until then. You choose which roles are trusted.
• Approve, reject or block people from the Recordings screen. Recordings nobody reviews are removed after 14 days.
• Built-in limits and invisible bot protection keep spam from filling your storage or raising your Bunny.net bill. You can change the limits in Settings.

Setup and management

• A setup wizard walks you through storage and who can record, and installs Presto Player if it is missing.
• The Dashboard shows recordings over time and those waiting for review. The Recordings screen lists them all.
• Works with WordPress privacy tools for personal data export and erasure requests.
