How to Use Instant Video Pages in Presto Player
Instant Video Pages let you share a video using an automatically generated page created from the Media Hub, without creating or managing a post or page in WordPress yourself.
This is useful for quick sharing, client previews, or when you just need a direct video link.
What You’ll Need
Before you start:
- Make sure Presto Player is installed and activated
- The video is uploaded or synced to the Media Hub
Create an Instant Video Page
To create a public Instant Video Page:
- Go to Presto Player > Media Hub in your WordPress dashboard.
- Click Add New to upload a video.
- Choose the video source, such as YouTube, Vimeo, Bunny.net, or self-hosted.
- Complete the upload or add the video URL.
- On the top-right corner, look for the Instant Video Page dropdown setting.

- Set it to Published.
- Before saving, go to the Media tab and look for slug, change it as needed to customize the URL for the Instant Video page.

- Click Save at the top of the screen.

Once published, a shareable link is generated for the video page. You can copy and share this link immediately.
Preview an Instant Video Page Before Publishing
You can preview the video page before making it public.
- Open the video in the Media Hub.
- Find the Instant Video Page dropdown at the top-right corner.
- Set it to Unpublished.
- This state is automatically saved. If you want to set it to Published you would have to re-save.
This creates a private preview version of the page that is visible only to you while logged in.
You can still use the slug/URL for the Instant Video Page but this will show as Unpublished and will only be visible to site admins.

Managing Instant Video Pages
Instant Video Pages are tied to the video in the Media Hub.
- You can switch the page between published and unpublished at any time
- Changes to the video or its presets and settings apply to the Instant Video Page automatically as well.
- No additional page or post management is required
- Instant Video Pages are non-customizable for now.
Conclusion
Instant Video Pages are useful when you need a shareable video link without creating a WordPress post or page. Because they are managed directly from the Media Hub, you can control visibility and reuse the same video without additional setup.
